Flying in Real Airspace: Inside Our Joint Airspace Simulation with NASA
Against the record
Wisk Generation 6, from Wisk Aero, is at stage 1 of 5 on our ladder: demo only. Shown in videos or staged events; no units with customers. The latest milestone on its record is from 10 Aug 2026: Boeing agreed to hand Wisk, together with drone maker Insitu and SkyGrid, to Archer Aviation in exchange for a stake of nearly 20% in Archer. Boeing keeps access to Wisk's self-flying technology.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
For the first time ever, we’ve connected our Autonomy Lab directly with NASA to simulate multi-aircraft autonomous flight in busy, real-world airspace. During the simulation, a single ground supervisor successfully managed three autonomous eVTOL air taxis simultaneously as they flew simulated routes alongside traditional air traffic in the San Jose airspace. Conducted at NASA’s Ames Research Center, this milestone campaign demonstrated how autonomous aircraft can safely integrate into busy airspace, helping lay the groundwork for future aviation policy. ✈️ #AAM #Simulation #Aviation…
