Against the record
Wisk Generation 6, from Wisk Aero, is at stage 1 of 5 on our ladder: demo only. Shown in videos or staged events; no units with customers. The latest milestone on its record is from 10 Aug 2026: Boeing agreed to hand Wisk, together with drone maker Insitu and SkyGrid, to Archer Aviation in exchange for a stake of nearly 20% in Archer. Boeing keeps access to Wisk's self-flying technology.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
That's a wrap on our 2026 summer internship program! ✈️ This summer, our interns jumped into projects across Wisk, working alongside teams in engineering, supply chain, IT, safety, and more. Along the way, they got a firsthand look at the many disciplines that come together to build the future of autonomous flight. We caught up with a few members of this year's cohort to hear about what they learned, what surprised them, and what made their time at Wisk memorable. A huge thank you to our entire 2026 intern class for everything you brought to Wisk this summer!
