Against the record
Zipline, from Zipline, is at stage 5 of 5 on our ladder: regulator-cleared or mass market. Cleared where approval applies, or widely sold. The latest milestone on its record is from 16 Oct 2026: DroneXL counts more than 30 Zipline sites across the US, with more being added.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
Zipline and @Uber are partnering to expand autonomous drone delivery on the Uber Eats platform. By pairing Uber’s delivery network with Zipline’s next-generation delivery technology, we’re building toward a future where even more everyday items can move through cities in new ways: quickly, quietly and through the air.
