Against the record
Zipline, from Zipline, is at stage 5 of 5 on our ladder: regulator-cleared or mass market. Cleared where approval applies, or widely sold. The latest milestone on its record is from 16 Oct 2026: DroneXL counts more than 30 Zipline sites across the US, with more being added.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
Here's a look at how our delivery system works today in Texas. First a customer places an order. When the order is fulfilled, the order is loaded for pick up and the drone leaves it charging point, flies to the pick up point, picks up the order, delivers it and then flies back to charge.
