Ever Seen Weeds Fly? Aigen X4 Does What Chemicals and Lasers Can't

Against the record

Element, from Aigen, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 16 Sept 2026: Aigen launched the Element Gen 2 X4, which weeds both in and between crop rows, with fleets offered for the 2027 season. It said it had built more than 100 robots.

This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.

From the video's description

Meet Element Gen 2 X4, Aigen's four-arm autonomous robot for in-row and between-row weed control. With no driver, no fuel, and no charging infrastructure, Element robotic fleets target every weed in the row and between rows, mechanically pulling them at the root, up to 12 inches foliage diameter. Every robot is solar-powered with solar-charged battery backup and works as part of a coordinated crew that runs dawn to dusk. Every pass is also a field report. Element Gen 2 X4 records weed density going into a field and removal coming out, giving growers plant-level data and field-level analytics on every acre it covers. Fleets are available for the 2027 season. Book a field demonstration at aigen.io…
