Against the record
Element, from Aigen, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 16 Sept 2026: Aigen launched the Element Gen 2 X4, which weeds both in and between crop rows, with fleets offered for the 2027 season. It said it had built more than 100 robots.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
We joined 300+ growers, researchers, and agriculture leaders in Georgia to demonstrate autonomous, chemical-free weed control in a region where herbicide-resistant weeds are a major challenge. Georgia is no stranger to superweeds. The first documented case of glyphosate-resistant pigweed was recorded there in 2004鈥攃reating urgency to find solutions like Aigen Element that do not rely on herbicides. And Georgia is just one part of the journey: 馃搷 California 馃搷 Georgia 馃搷 North Dakota 馃搷 Washington We鈥檙e learning from diverse fields, climates, and crops鈥攄emoing, testing, and scaling Element where it matters most. Each stop isn鈥檛 just another field. It鈥檚 another farmer taking back control. Another step away from chemical dependence. Another glimpse of what farming can look like when the tools are finally on your side.
