Deliver Future - DHL Parcelcopter 4.0 in Tanzania - Trailer II
Against the record
Wingcopter 198, from Wingcopter, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 14 Sept 2026: Wingcopter launched the Wingcopter 262, a military reconnaissance drone it says can stay in the air for up to six hours.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
A joint project between DHL, GIZ and Wingcopter called "Deliver Future" makes this possible. The supply of medicines and the collection of laboratory samples between hubs and remote islands in East Africa using drones was tested over a period of six months. It was a success: The autonomously flying DHL Parcelcopter 4.0 flew in only forty minutes 60 kilometers from Mwanza on the mainland to the remote island in the Ukerewe District at Lake Victoria.
