We spend a lot of time thinking about how can our robots cross roads more safely..

Against the record

Starship delivery robot, from Starship Technologies, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 28 April 2026: Starship said it had passed 10 million deliveries, with a fleet of more than 3,000 robots.

This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.

From the video's description

..but last week, we got to teach kids about it too 🤍🚗 We partnered up with S group to launch a national traffic safety campaign across cities in Finland to remind all drivers, cyclists and pedestrians about the importance of traffic safety as kids are going back to school. ..and at Prisma Viikki near Helsinki, they built a mini traffic circle, where kids could ride around with bikes to practise road safety. Even two of our little robot helpers had the chance to join in and teach kids about navigating traffic and crossing the road safely. (something that our robots know a thing or two about, considering they’re doing 125 000 road crossings a week..) Campaigns and events like this are incredibly special to us, and we put a lot of hard effort into building our little robots to be as safe and reliable as possible 🤍…
