11M+ deliveries later..but where did we all really start?
Against the record
Starship delivery robot, from Starship Technologies, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 28 April 2026: Starship said it had passed 10 million deliveries, with a fleet of more than 3,000 robots.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.

Our first commercial city was Milton Keynes back in 2018, but it wasn’t just a city. It was also like a life-sized lab for us. 🔬 Early on, we had to prove that our technology could actually handle the complexity of the real world. Different weather, busy streets, curbs that you can’t really replicate. Over a decade of data and 200 million road crossings later, our robots operate in conditions as extreme as the snow in Finland. The result is that our robots operate on Level 4 autonomy, reliably. 🤖 What's your biggest question that keeps on lingering about autonomous delivery? #AutonomousDelivery #MiltonKeynes…
