The solution to the expensive last mile: autonomous delivery robots.

Against the record

Starship delivery robot, from Starship Technologies, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 28 April 2026: Starship said it had passed 10 million deliveries, with a fleet of more than 3,000 robots.

This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.

From the video's description

A 2-ton car for a cheeseburger delivery never made sense to us. So we built something that does: an autonomous robot that makes short-distance delivery cheaper, cleaner and simpler. And connectivity is a big part of how it works, becuase we've got more than 3,000 robots operating across all kinds of different locations. 1oT came to our office to see behind the scenes on what it takes to run a fleet of autonomous robots at a large global scale in their latest docuseries: Build Connected. Thank you so much 1oT and KPN IoT for this collaboration - we had a lot of fun shooting it!…
