Pharmaceutical Fulfillment at Scale: MSK Pharma Group and Locus Robotics
Against the record
Locus robots, from Locus Robotics, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from March 2026: Locus launched Locus Array, a robot with its own picking arm and cameras that fills orders without a worker. DHL was running three of them.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
MSK Pharma Group, a German pharmaceutical distributor, processes more than 55,000 units and 6,400 order lines a day across two neighboring warehouse sites. Serialization, lot validation, and expiry-date tracking leave little room for operational friction. As demand grew, MSK needed fulfillment infrastructure that could scale across both existing and newly developed facilities without locking operations into fixed automation. With Locus Robotics, MSK now operates: • 63 robots across two neighboring warehouse sites • 55,000+ units processed daily • 6,400+ order lines handled daily When demand shifts between the two facilities, robot capacity can be reassigned in approximately 15 minutes. In this case study, the MSK team explains how adaptive fulfillment infrastructure reduced walking time, improved pick productivity, and supports continued growth across its pharmaceutical operations. …
