Dusty Prints Portraits on the Main Stage at DCAC 2026
Against the record
FieldPrinter, from Dusty Robotics, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 10 Oct 2024: Dusty made FieldPrinter 2 generally available, and said contractors had printed more than 100 million square feet of layout with its robots.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
Dusty's a layout robot. It belongs on the slab. But when you get the chance to jump on the main stage at DCAC in Austin... you do it! That stage is Austin City Limits. Lasers, fog machines, and a floor that has never seen a chalk line. But we weren't printing layout. Dusty proved its accuracy by printing pics of DCAC speakers and attendees. Where should we take Dusty next? #DCAC #DataCenterConstruction #AutomatedLayout #DustyRobotics
