Auzmet Uses Dusty to Put the Plans on the Floor

Against the record

FieldPrinter, from Dusty Robotics, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 10 Oct 2024: Dusty made FieldPrinter 2 generally available, and said contractors had printed more than 100 million square feet of layout with its robots.

This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.

From the video's description

37 units. 11 floors. 12,500 linear feet of wall layout per floor. Augusto Noriega at Auzmet used to do it by hand. "My knee hurt after that," he says. So he switched to Dusty. His operator Brian trained in half an hour — runs Dusty from an iPad, and knocks out an entire floor every three days. "As soon as you start running numbers, there's no questions to go back to physical layout." #FramingLayout #AutomatedLayout #RobotsInConstruction #ConstructionLayout #FieldPrinter #MultiFamilyResidentialConstruction
