1X showed NEO Beta, an early test version of its two-legged home robot. It said a few units would go into selected homes for research.
A dated step forward on the record · Company-reported
What the source says
“This year, we are deploying a limited number of NEO units in selected homes for research and development purposes.”
What it means
NEO, from 1X Technologies, is at stage 2 of 5 on our ladder: pre-orders. Its stage is set by other milestones on its record; this one adds to the history. This line rests on the company's own announcement; no regulator, customer or independent report confirms it in our sources yet.
Human help: People working remotely can steer it or take over.
