Waabi World's 99.7% realism score across diverse driving scenarios
Against the record
Waabi Driver, from Waabi, is at stage 3 of 5 on our ladder: pilot. Working with a named customer in a real setting. The latest milestone on its record is from 5 Oct 2026: Volvo and Waabi began hauling freight for customers in Texas, starting with Warp, between Dallas and Houston. A person still sits in the driver's seat.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
While the AV industry has embraced simulation, it has neglected the crucial step of rigorously measuring simulation realism. To unlock AVs at scale, we must establish clear realism metrics ensuring safety and accountability. Waabi World's exceptional 99.7% realism score, validated through our scientific measurement framework, represents a breakthrough for AV safety. This establishes a new industry benchmark - all AV developers must now publicly demonstrate their simulators' quantified realism before driverless deployment.
