Against the record
Matic, from Matic Robots, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 5 Oct 2026: The Verge reported that Matic had gone from 1,500 robots shipped a year earlier to 17,000 in homes.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
If Matic mapped an open space as a single room but you'd rather manage it as two, like separating a combined living and dining area, you can split it right in the app. In this video, we'll show you how to divide one mapped room into two separate rooms, so you can name, schedule, and clean each space independently.
