Against the record
Matic, from Matic Robots, is at stage 4 of 5 on our ladder: paying customers. Delivered and paid for, beyond pilots. The latest milestone on its record is from 5 Oct 2026: The Verge reported that Matic had gone from 1,500 robots shipped a year earlier to 17,000 in homes.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
From the video's description
If Matic mapped your space into more rooms than you'd like, say a hallway and entryway split apart when you'd rather manage them as one, you can combine them right in the app. In this video, we'll show you how to merge two rooms into a single room, making it easier to schedule, and clean that space as one.
