This installation video demonstrates the proper installation of mineral wool safing and Hilti firestop sealant to help maintain the fire-resistance rating of the assembly while accommodating building movement. FW-D-1037 is approved for use in 2-hour rated concrete floor and wall assemblies and provides Class II movement capability, allowing up to 10% compression or extension. The system utilizes compressed mineral wool safing and Hilti firestop sealants to create a durable joint solution for concrete construction.
