Against the record
Motional robotaxi, from Motional (Hyundai), is at stage 3 of 5 on our ladder: pilot. Working with a named customer in a real setting. The latest milestone on its record is from 13 March 2026: Uber added Motional's self-driving Ioniq 5 cars to its app in Las Vegas, in five areas, with a safety monitor in each car.
This video comes from the maker's own channel, and makers show their robots at their best. The stage above comes from dated public records, not from the video.
